Update: a spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "we can confirm we have been called by the London ambulance service to an address in NW8 to alert a man refusing treatment. He went to the police, and the man was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Central London. That was the end of our involvement. "
A friend, meanwhile, said the actor "relapse", but don't try to kill himself.
